As the methodology around serverless technologies matures, there’s an immediate need to focus our efforts on refining the tooling around the serverless ecosystem. The push to expand on the tooling workflow with new technologies is especially prevalent with serverless, which went from concept to execution perhaps much quicker than normal.

In this episode of The New Stack Makers podcast, we spoke to Florian Motlik, consultant at Cloudthropology, about how serverless is driving the new for a specific and renewed focus on its own tooling ecosystem. In our conversation, we also discuss utilizing serverless services as “glue code,” how organizations are adopting serverless, and why it takes so little investment to start experimenting with serverless environments.
